It’s not very often that I find a piece of clothing that I know will change my life. The last time was New Look’s super skinny jeans; if you haven’t tried them out already, make sure you do. But, in my constant battle to upgrade my wardrobe to a smarter, yet casual one, I’ve been struggling to find the right sort of fit trouser wise.
Finding skinny fit trousers is not bother at all, every retailer does them, just in different ways, but it doesn’t really scream authenticity. And when you turn up to retailers that specialise, and are known for their tailoring, it’s sometimes hard to find the right fit, with a more conservative slim leg being the slimmest you’d get. Marks and Spencer have rectified that problem. Their Spring/Summer lines have hit the stores and one of the stand out pieces is the new Modern Skinny tailored trousers.
Cut close to the ankle, and hemmed to help you define the new modern silhouette, these trousers will reinvigorate your already existing smart wear by injection some masculine navy, but with design details like a seersucker stripe, or with a scratchy print. Wear them with your newest white sneakers and a perfectly tailored shirt to channel your inner Nord.
Priced at £25, these are a cheap addition to your wardrobe from the tailoring experts at M&S.
